FGS is a dynamic church located in downtown Las Vegas, NV. Our beliefs are based on the Bible and centered on Jesus Christ. 

Originally opened in 1940, FGS is the original Lutheran Church (LCMS) in Las Vegas. The happy mother of a large family of daughter congregations in the Las Vegas valley. First Good Shepherd was instrumental in the founding of Faith Lutheran Middle & High Schools. 

God has blessed this downtown location with a congregation that is progressive in attitude, blended in worship, conservative in theology yet entrepreneurial in spirit.
